| Loading the Photo in the Software |

| First run the software by clicking on the Perfect Skin Photo TM . Now click on the tool labelled “Open” as shown below. |

| This will pop up a file browser that enables you to load in the image as shown below. The pane to the left, and the boxes at the top right of the window show the directories that you can load the images from. To load an image click on the file name in the bottom right hand pane. |

| Once the image has been loaded into the browser, the centre of the screen will contain the image that is being modified. You can zoom in , zoom out or rotate the image using the buttons at the top of the page as shown below. |

| Setting the Preview Speed Up |

| The examples photos that come with the software are small images, about the size that you would see on a web site. For larger images you may wish to use the Preview speed up at the bottom of the screen. |

| This spin button controls the rate at which the image processing is performed on the canvas. The larger this number, the faster the processing, but the more distorted the preview image will be. This value does not affect the quality of the saved image. It only affects the quality of the image viewed on the screen. This spin button is useful when you are previewing and tweaking parameters on large images. If the image is too large to fit on the screen then this number should be greater than 1, otherwise it should be set to 1. The value will depend upon the speed of your computer, and your personal preference. |

| Toggling between "Show Transformed" and "Show Original" Mode |

| The button at the top of the screen labelled “Show Transformed” toggles the applications between "Show Transformed" mode, where the image on the canvas is the transformed image or "Show Original" mode where the original image is displayed on the canvas. In the picture below the image is in "Show Original" mode, and the image on the canvas is the original photo. |

| When this image is clicked upon the image on the canvas changes to show the transformed image. In addition the text on the button changes from “Show Transformed” to Show Original. |

| If you’re happy with the suggested transformation of the image, you can save the image. Otherwise you can tweak the output. |
